I started writing this song when we were in Costa Rica and finished it a few years later after we returned from Cambodia. This song is all about the heart of God and His heart beats missions.

How far
How far would You go
To save one life
You can travel that distance through me
How long
How long would You search
Through the muck and mire
Would You trust your searching to me
I'm trying to see what it really means to be moved by Your compassion

Help me to find Your heart [3x]
And lose myself in You

How much
How much do we need
Before we have enough
While so many live on nothing
How sad
How sad would it be
If we saw their pain
But we never stopped their suffering
No small sacrifice will ever suffice when it's all of me You're after

Your heart breaks for the broken
It runs to the lonely
For every child left abandoned
Your heart weeps
Your heart fights for the dying
For the rights of the desperate ones
Your heart breaks for the world in front of me
